this is my escort bonus project, it was running a turbo engine. that was until i blew it up. im now going 1.8 zetec, the engine is from a 2i. i have a green one to run around in but i still miss the smile it put on my face so got to get it back on the road.

Wont put much of a smile back on your face after a turbo engine?! Why dont you use another RS lump or get it rebuilt?!

also put the silver mk4 back to standard with the zetec lump!

I have a complete rs turbo engine with everything needed to make your bonus in to a turbo if you change your mind.

 

remove carpets and other non essentual items (meaning most of it) very suprized to find some very good floors having only 1 bit of welding in the past. the zetec will not be standard as soon as funds allow it will get lightened and balanced etc. and the car will be as light as possible. and yes i am thinking of changing them bumpers.

is the sound proofing stayin lot of waight that you know i and doing a simaler project that look good mate wanna sell ya cage.

 

i took out all my sound proofing and weighd it....

4.2kg!!!

 

blimmey i didnt realise it weighd that much . im gona remove thing like the rear wiper as well and get the hole pluged up. it all adds up.
sorry bonus bhp i will not sell the cage i think it gona make a big part of how the cars going to look. plus i really want to do a few track days so it will be needed if i put it in the tyre wall, but then hopfully it wont be needed for that. cheers
