Yeah, we are still working on the car, so at the moment my mate Nils started to build in the Escort MK5 dashboard into the Mk3... He did a very good job and it looks quite original.
Further I continued to work on the rear axle. I mounted the diff on, put it in it's final position, designed the brackets and prepared some sheets.
Next step is to weld the brackets, the crossbeam where the diff is mounted and the mountings for the coil overs.
I hope that when you're here Kev, that maybe the car will stand on it's own feets. Next weekend I'm away on a busines trip and 2 weeks later I will be away for nearly 3 weeks on holiday (yeaaaaahhhhh).
So don't expect too much...![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Cheers

Thanx alot guys...
Finally a new update. Certainly I was always working on the shell, except duing my vacation. And we did some big progress.
the hole from the spare wheel well is gone and I made some additional brackets for the rear beam.
But the most important progress is: The Front part is completely finished. Everything is welded and sealed! There was so much work but it was worth it.
Now the next big step is to finish the rear axle. I hope to be finished with that in about three weeks, so that we can make a first attempt to build in the front and rear axle, engine, gearbox and steering.
and here some pics:

Thank you very much guys... thanx!!!
@stavros: it will be nearly a sleeper... from the outside, I'm not going to mount any spoilers, just some alloy rims and the bonnet vents... From the inside just the necessary... the car must be as light as possible... For security reasons I will put in a antirollcage... the rest: we will see... I'm not really sure at this point...
@Micha: Servusch... cool das Du jetzt auch hier bist... jaja... Deine Arbeit... meinst Du, es wird weniger?
Wenn Du mal in der nähe bist, komm' mal auf einen Sprung rum
