Great work cyril, Its so refreshing to see a job being done right so people can understand the time involved in doing a PROPPER and SAFE conversion, not only will the standard of work stand out but you will also be rewarded with a cosworth converted escort that actually drives nices unlike many that are out there.
Well done.
Well done.

New Update:
The rear axle made some big progess: The 2 front mountings of the axle are now fixed on the shell... just need to weld in the rear beam in order to mount on the diff...
Just to see how it looks like I put in the transverse links and it looks pretty good... I am very satisfied with the result...
But there is still alot of work to do...
Have a look to the pics...

new Update:
I put in the front and rear axle from the Cosworth... everything fits perfectly... I also built in the steering and fixed the dashboard. That's it for the moment... I'am tired and need some vacation :-(

I started to think about the rims... Which size, which ET, which brand...
In order to know, what size I am going to use, I put on a rim just to have a starting point where the measure.
I put everything in Solidworks and tried different sizes and ET, paying attention that the tyre won't hit the coil overs.
With adjustabe top mounts I found the right size, with a maximum camber of 1,8°. So everything should fit fine.

The problem ist, that with 4x108, I don't have much choice regading rims. So I will change to 5x112 and with that, I have plenty of choice. Audi, Seat, VW etc. uses that size.
Finally, I bought that rims...

so in one or two weeks we will see, if my calculations are right
