here you are mate... new update

engine/gearbox, front and rear axles were mounted... II will mount in everything until I can start the engine... There is still alot of work to do, but nothing which causes any problems.
Everything fits more than perfectly, I am very satisfied with the result.

Further I mounted the CAE Ultra Short Shifter. Damn that shifter is really of high quality and is really ultra short...

next update soon to come

Hey guys...

thanx alot... James... be sure that I will keep all of you informed... Always keep a cup of tea ready

@Andy:
you can get the shortshifter here:
http://www.cae-racing.de/shifter_ford.htm

for Getrag and MT75 gearboxes

@graham:
yeah, if you wanna do a proper conversion, it is always expensive, but you know that, you also do a very very good job!!

At the moment I'm modifying the complete wiring loom. As my cage goes through the dashboard, I have to put the fusebox on the right side. I don't use the Sierra box. Instead of that I take the Escort one.

I will put some pics the next days...

cheers

Cyril

Some news:

As I have to move the fuse box to the passenger side, I have to redo the complete loom... Therefore I bought the original contacts for the cable-housings and the needed tools to get out the contacts of the housings.

I don't want to solder the cables or to crimp them...

The loom which goes from the left side to the right in the enginy bay will move to the inside of the car. So nearly no cables will be visible in the engine bay...

and now: piccis

Great work Cyril,

Something that may interest you why your on wiring if you arnt aware already, dont know if its the same in your cosworths(should be), but over here they suffer with melt downs in the fuse boxes on 30amp fused stuff, especially on the Rad Fans, also the fuel pump loom is worth upgrading too, have a look at this info by MSD........

Top ten problems with Cosworths(top two are wiring issues)

More interesting stuff

no, not really... I had some things to do so the Escos have to wait... but nor for long... I just have to swap the engine on my V6 Mondeo (no more power) and then I'll continue... be patient
