i would have prefered to take the sump off to do the work but just didnt have the time to do it really as i had to do the work at my dads place and couldnt leave it there otherwise he would have got in trouble, the turbo ive got is a bit of a mix n match at the moment, its got an xs power compressor housing and compressor wheel and centre section, the shaft is a garret shaft and its got a standard erst exhaust housing so im just looking for a .48 exhaust housing for it now,its starting to smoke a bit already when its cold and hasnt been started for a day but im going to send it off soon to get it rebuilt

Cool estate mate, i've just got my second one (mk3 first one got wrote off, shame as it had a 1 off kit etc)
sorry for the thread hijack,. only pictures I have of it tho. I have just picked up a mk4 estate diesel in white off flea bay so going to have some fun with that. Was a bit of a shed and having trouble sourcing a few bits for it. Just picked up one rear bumper, might go back for the second one in the scrappy.
Look forward to seeing some more progress. How you getting on with the dash?

when you get it up and running make sure you switch the dash to kmh instead of mph as the readings at the important speeds are closer on the kmh settings, the speedo sensor i just ran the earth and live straight to the battery then the other wire goes straight to the dash mate

i'm in mixed views about mine, tempted to slap it back on ebay with all the rs shocks/suspension/kit now as i've got too many projects on the go atm.
I'll have a think and see what i want to do, but i'll keep an eye on you projects

cheers mate,im going to do as much of the work as i can myself again, also im going to keep as much of the floor as i can so i can keep it looking as standard inside as possible, also im not going to change how the outside of the car looks either so hopefully the only giveaway to people who can spot it will be the slightly wider track of the wheels,im also hoping it will be the 1st cossie powered estate aswell

ive been told that it will be nicer to drive using as much of the original floor as possible, had a look round a few at ford fair and the oddkid creations one stood out the most as that uses the whole sierra floor and the seats seem to sit really high and against the door cards aswell which i dont want
