Cheers Col
Yeah, such a different day compared to Brands
Yeah was reading up on that stuff, fucking expensive
Cheers Sean
I'm not sure about the Binliner There was an R35 for sure
Just a idea but why dont you try that waterless coolant should stop it from pressurising up and spitting coolant out the tank.
I have'nt tried it by the way just been reading up on it and it sounds ideal!!!!
Awsome car by the way cant wait to see it go at some of the track days.

Great vid, does it step out easy? Hows the handling?
Just wondering what mine will be like on track as they are both short wheel base.

Since Bedford, I've fixed the issue with the power steering courtesy of a lovely billet pulley set up of Mark @ MK Motorsport
Did an afternoon session at Castle Combe in mid March with no issues other than blowing a boost hose off
Then at weekend took it up to Central RSOC Day @ Santa Pod.
It's harder than it looks tbh......did seven runs and managed a 13.6@104.
Need to get some softer rear springs and maybe set it up a 0 degree camber if I take it to Classic Ford.
Washed and tucked away till its next outing

Not a bad time that, looks like it could get off the line a bit quicker seemed to bog down a bit , are you pulling away in first or second.
What was you 60ft times ?
Im now getting my standard viscous uprated on my 7" diff to around 190 / 200nm as i didnt fancey a platted or atb one and its a lot cheaper.
What diff are you thinking of for yours?

Spoke to Bara today about a Gripper or a Titan. I'm sticking with 3.6 ratio. I'll get the one in it rebuilt and the vc pumped up when it's removed.

The car handles so well already and only needs a few little things doing to make it perfect IMO ( suspension lowering and stiffening a bit, and driver seat bolting straight to the floor). The best thing is you could drive it quick but just change the tyres and its then mega fun.
The only thing I don't like is this and loaders handle so well it makes me want to build something silly again. Good job I am always skint these days as that's the only thing stopping me.

Forgot to add that finally got found to fitting a dump valve to hopefully help turbo life and to try and keep the boost hoses on
Bought a Gripper diff which is going to Bara for a new crownwheel, pinion and a check over
Started looking at getting new engine ready, will be 200 blocked, mild inlet work, AB07 or BD14 cam, CR Turbos T38 and a remap for about 390-410bhp

Doing a few things in preparation for RS Combe next month.
Firstly modified a Cupra R front splitter to fit.
Got a cool wireless button set up from Lee @ www.summittech.co.uk
No idea what I'm going to use it for yet ! Although I'd like to make a V8 Supercars style panning camera mount.
And finally in my search for more traction, I've got some 8J Comp MOs and some bigger 888s, and a Gripper diff from Gav via Bara for a new CWP after he snapped it

Not updated thread for a while. Got the new diff fitted in time for Combe.
Had a good day between time on track and on the Fast Ford stand
Good to see the usual crowd, and the Pompey BMW Massive .... Cheap fun in their 328 toys
Called it a day after third session when I developed a knock/bang on the overrun
Turned out to be loose wheel nuts
Video from first session.
Had a session out with Rob in his 328 compact in the afternoon with Dan causing so much trouble he got kicked off
Next was FordFair which was a slightly better day having tightened the wheel nuts up !
Began with a bit of camping action at Whittlebury Park, which was first outing for my new tent, compared to Bens tiny affair
Sticky kindly fitted me a new sunstrip as I haven't got any sun blinds inside
Again big thanks to the Fast Ford staff for inviting me onto their stand
Had two track sessions at 12:00 and 15:00 which was a good laugh, although it highlighted I need some stiffer springs.
