you wont be able to fit that without a fair amount of shell mods martin, andys set up is a lot longer and wider than the escort WRC item. mine practically sits at the side of the B pillar. also the struts need to be more in board to get the hub width - all do-able of course

i asked x sport if they could make me carbon roof and doors but when i picked them up they were fibron...maybe he thought i was just curious and actualy just wanted fibron!!

problem is that the pinion spline on the rack is a bit small as its only a standard sierra 2wd non power rack and its on a 4x4 with big slicks with a power asissted motor on the colum,, maybe use a 4x4 rack without the oil as it has a better spline or get better quality UJ's as it was the spline on them that stripped not the spline on the shaft.

That isn't so good!
Not being an expert on these things, can you buy upgraded replacements for things like that? Though I'm sure you or someone could make it without too much trouble. Would a PAS rack work ok without fluid? Or would it not cause excessive wear?

What about bolting another colum on, fittin the splin as normal then drillin through the middle & using a nut & bolt to assist the clamp already in place ??

its prob too narrow to drill a hole as the shaft will then be too week

after having carbon 1/4's wings etc from m sport i expected when i ask for carbon doors and roof they would be much the same....
this is the carbon 1/4
