if your going into all this work space framing the chassis why are using a 15yr old floor section for the tunnel ? surely a nice custom built centre would be better ?

Mate look at the work andy does... dont you think if a custom tunnel was needed or mattered he'd knock one up considering its such a small job in relation to the rest of the car.

not got the time mate but i would love to/ still wanting to do a 600 bhp p100 in a texaco 500 rep for a work truck iv got too many work comitments to do out at the mo iv been working with cars for about 13 years(not bad for a 26 year old )and the little fez is the first car iv ever done for me self

Surely the previous focus was not your 1st attempt at fabrication work on that kind of scale.
Have you worked in shell prep/design previously, outstanding attention to detail, and interesting to see being built and witness once complete on track.

Last years car was built just over a month check the dates from start to finnish in the old thread there was a few ppl that thought it was a bit optimistic & wasnt goig to work but it did & won the northern saloons & did 196.6 mph

am sure andrew spent a few years as a panel beater if am rite if not correct me ive done jig work myself but not on a jig like his damn that things a fuking monster

worked in a fab shop where we made anything from gates to dumper truck bodies www.jamiesonwelding.com and worked in a bodyshop doing jig work and always done road/rally prep on the side

It's a great start for sure. Roughly how many hours per week go into the build of this car? I am really quite impressed at the speed with which the last and this car has progress from a pile of tube and panels to something resembling a car.
