Absolutely amazing piece of kit, and seeing the 2 AG Fous together , it just shows the workmanship thats gone into the new car, I was just amazed when looking at it today.... well done that man

The car was fucking amazing! I stayed on to see it in the 2nd race after I'd done mine, well worth the wait.

They said on the commentary you were doing 140mph on the straight Andrew, dunno how they knew exactly tho!?

Great news that the car made it and did so well! Will be keeping an eye out on Sky, Motors TV for the Focus to be on telly! Anyone know when it'll be shown as it usually is!?

Shame about the damage but the way and speed the car went together i'm sure it won't be a problem! Massive congratulations to everyone involved, even you for the updates Carlo!

The 2 shows cover the whole days racing. Different TV company now so it might seem different.

cheers next race is the 27th of april i will make sure i take the camera i was knackerd on sat & left the camera at the garage.Cant wai till ford fair,national day,croft,ohh & gatebill this year if it goes as well as it did yesterday at them he nobody will get near him.He ran the old focus all year last year & the first time out in the new he set a new lap record just think how well he will be once he gets used to the car & the set up.

Was scary watching the Focus passing the other cars! Even the old WRC style cossie was disposed of as if it was standing still!
Mucho respect for doing a 55sec lap in the wet too Andy.

So what ended up with bits of focus in it then or was it just a bit of rubbing making his way through the pack. Some good roads out from andys place to get some set up done if its road legal.

i got there just before the race started & was stood next to the bottom corner, & fook me seeing them 2 focus's coming towards you at speed back firing, flames the lot was mental, the fastest cars i have ever seen

There were two stacks of tyres that were joined together on the track supposed to be just on the grass as a marker but some tit had put them too far onto the rumble strip. So when andy came flying by on the first lap of the second race he clipped them, leaving a bit of the front wing flapping around. (bad times)
Not to let it slow him down he overtook about 3 cars and on the second lap used the tyres again to rip the troublesome bit right off the car then continued his assault on the rest of the pack. (good times)

being as you got the new lap record on the first outing, how hard were you driving it? and how much time do you think you could take off the lap with some fine tuning and more practice??
