Well a small up-date, car is back at sitech racing for a tweek mapping and the trumpets to be fitted to the bodies.....
Also he is going to look at the handling of the car, as its going to be used for track days aswel.

Well since getting it back from sitech racing, ive been using on the odd ocasion, and its mighty good fun! Just need to sort out sum nice wheels and 888 tyres for it!

well i'm the proud new owner,
really happy with the car,
been out in it today, keep having slight problems, but hopfully will sort them tonight as i will have a go at tweaking the map,
i'm planning on wiring the vvt in permenantly and leaning it out a little bit as it feels a bit rich tbh, but the car feels very solid on the road,
got use to the gears now and it makes me smile LOTTS!!!
spotted a bit of antifreeze on matt inside earlier tho so think the heatermatrix maybe weaping so will adress that this week also,
i'll keep this thread updated,

update already lol,
loving the car, espesialy now am use to driving it, its so much fun, the sound is awsome lol
yesterday i thought the heatermatrix was leaking, anyway took it out and had it checked and no leaks, but i definatly found antifreeze on the carpet inside.. so i'll just have to keep my eye on it,
anyway, in regards of tuning it,
went out last night and it was runing really rich,
low 13's according to my motec AFR, anyway, we leaned it out accross the whole map to run a 14.8 and the car FLIES!! lol, well up to 100 anyway, after the first 3 gears, going into 4th feels really sluggish and not much pull, were going to keep tweaking the map but i suspect its mainly down to the gear ratios tbh

sorry been a while to reply, not been online much
the VVT is set to come in a little over 4k,
some other little things i have done over the past week are, fettle the map slightly some more, and its suiting me better all the time, just seems to run out of puff when ur in 5th but then again when i'm hitting 5th am already doing 145mph so i guess wind resistance is a big downside to this
ive changed/renewed alot of bushes and parts also as at high speed driving it tended to be wander a little bit on the road,
ove had new ARB bushes and new bottom arms, also had new rack ends, not track ends but the actual quick rack had a bit of play in the sockets in the rack, this has all be done now, and the car feels even more solid than before,
ive also got some new disks and pads in the form of EBC drilled n grooved and red stuff pads,
alot of people dont rate these i know, but all i do is go on my experience and that combination never let me down in focus. so until i find fault thats what i stick with tbh,
ive also considered some braided lines and stuck between tire choice,
duno weather to go for 888's or sportmax track/road legal tires
anyway all is good, i will update with pics this week

its a bare shell at moment.iv got all the bits i need now,building it back up at end of april.iv just fitted new floor pans,inner sills,all resprayed inside,painted and treated underneath,full set of polybushes all new shocks and springs,still the st170 engine but had it rebuilt.all with lightned and balaced bottom end,full arp bolts,forged high comp wossner pistons with pec steel rods,ported and polished head,hayabusa throttle bodies,focus rs fuel rail and injectors,billet oil pump gears,and a dta p8 pro ecu to run it,and a 60 litre fuel tank to go in boot lol

yeah hopefully get pics up of engine,i took it in for rebuild beginning of march it needed a new conrod aswell because it scord wen it spun a bearing,they couldnt find a spare anywhere,so i ordered all forged on thursday so shud be here sumtime nxt week,run them up to the builders so they can finish it.been a reyt ball ache this car lol
