No mate the RS is 20mm bigger than a Zetec flywheel, well the clutches are 20mm difference.

Thanks to Jim (SCS) and the heads up re-trigger wheel wrapping themselves round cranks past 8500 revs, something I have not seen before but now I know it can happen it gave me RS paranoia! Thanks Jim lol

I started looking at other engine I have in stock and looked at a couple of the mountune cranks I have and found a difference on their trigger wheels.

They have billet steel ones fitted.

So... stripped my bottom end down, knew there was a reason I didn't final torque my rods... and fitted the billet steel trigger wheel.

On the standard you can bend teeth by hand, billet one you have no chance without a hammer lol

Also had a problem with adjustable cam sprockets as the bolts in a few had rounded off when I tried to reset them, Ian (Coley) drilled them out for me yesterday and I'll get new bolts asap.

Older pic's not working atm because photobucket want some money, I am not paying so they'll show up again soon.

All wrapped up now, I've loads of bits to sort out now, peddle box next after timing sorted on engine as not done that yet due to the sprockets needing drilling out etc.

Modify manifold also as doesn't quite clear the sump, but needs chopping anyway for new system etc...

Present arrived today from Andy @ ALDevelopments 50% throw quickshift.

He did also send me a few pic's of its construction to show me how indestructible he has attempted to make it as he knows how much abuse I have given his 25% ones in the past pmsl

He's welded this one together

The white mk6 poverty spec shell I purchased a little while ago was for the wiring...

Today I started looking at it lol

Got to try and figure out what I need and don't need from this lot...

Looks like you've already reduced your loom down nicely - that's half the battle.
My old Sierra one was so cut up & old I've had to start again!
I'm with you on hating the wiring - I've got two days on it this week. Normally I love having time set aside to work on the car but this week I'm not so sure..
Cheers

Bit of a head ache lately sorting out all the JIC AN fitting sizes but I think I am on top of it now.

As with a few they weren't strait forward but after Coley measured for me it seems some are 5/8 BSP to -16, started ordering these up for the dry sump system.

Also had head ache with trying to mount my 52's onto my CNC DTH inlet, as you'll see in the pics, inlet machined with 8mm holes for mounting but I couldn't get the 8mm stud or cap head to work on tb's because injector housing is to low.

So thanks to Mick following my design request he made me some 8mm to 6mm thread / stud reducers, they worked well.

Some pics -
