Right the pepole here is an update for you lot,i have had this bumper sitting in the garage for some time now and i have made my mind up that i am going to make a TWINS style rear bumper but i will be using a rear diffuser of a new shape renault cilo sport,

the std bumper

and the cilo bumper

and then i started to cut them up

and then i screwed them together so i could get an idea of what it will look like when its done and the diffuser will be staying black

Let me know what you lot think

Right then pepole not been on here for abit so i thought it was about time i update the thread, so here are some new pics of what i have been up to on the car since the last time i was here.

back bumper in filler

I then made some plates up so that i could remove the holes were the cilo exhausts come out of the diffuser as i am thinking about a side exit exhaust

all plastic welded in place

i have removed the number plate light as well

number plate area in filler and the rear diffuser in filler as well

all the filler smoothed of and ready for primer

and some pics of the bumper complete and ready for primer and i had to put it on the car to see what it looks like

Both the front and rear bumper in primer and flatted but i will put them up later and the car is all wet flatted and ready to paint so is all the other parts are ready to paint and i am taking it to my work place so that i can paint it next friday so next weekend i will put some pics up of the car in its new coat of paint

I have been away for abit so i think its about time i had an update pepole i have get the car painted now and it is just about fitted up, i am off to london on the 23rd to see jano at oddkiddcreations for him to have a look at the car and for him to set it up for me as its not running right.

any way here are some pics of when i painted the car at my work place

all flated and ready for paint

3 coats of basecoat applyed

and then 3 good coats of clear. pics are not the best

i took some with the flash on but it went from red to pink

and then the doors an tailgate and kit i panited the insides of the doors, tailgate and bonnet so i could lay them flat to get a better finish, but i forgot to take pics of the bonnet and bumpers in the spary booth.

a few pics of how the car is now as i have not took many of fitting it all up as i could be doing with fitting a part then taking a pic as it would take to long or is it just me being lazy, the pics are of my phone so might not be vrey good.

because of my new rear bumper i have had a new back box made

so it looks like this when the bumper is on

and a few other pics

And that is how it stands at the moment so i will have to do some more work now and try to updates more regular

That is mega, I really do like it, I think it would look awsome with some black wheels on it maybe a slightly better style too!

Love the clio diffuser too!

Thanks for the comments,

I do still have the car but i have been a bit lazy the last few mouths since i took it down to jano at oddkidd creations for it to be set up a to get all the way there to bend a vavle, never mind i had a felpro head gasket on which i had been told some bad things about so it was a good time to put a ford one on it so it does not blow when i get the car on the road which will be soon i hope as its only been off the road for 3 and a half years now.
