cheers guys, didnt do much today, fitted bonnet raisers today, stupid kit comes with self tapping fixings to bolt to the car which are no way near strong enough so ditched these, took fixings from boot ones for now then drilled with washers and fitted nuts on the back, much stronger and looks . this should be strong enough rite? all windows are now back in and put remaining interior in so it now looks abit more like a car lol, 2moro i should be having more stuff sprayed black, then on go the polybushes (except rear inner lower arm as the seem too big).
what do you guys think of keeping the comp wheels and refurbing them? gloss black? matt?

bit of progress today, alarm now finished , steering rack on and polybushed, heater etc on, wiper motor arms and mech etc painted and fitted, rs1600i spoiler fittedbonnet catch painted and fitted, connected up a bit of wiring.
problem.... id connected bonnet raisers to the hinge now raisers fail on wing when closing so i am going to drill then tap a thread ito my bonnet raisers to fit these but is looking good now, just want it on the road.
what i'd said about arms being a diff size there are 2 diff sizes deflex told me so are sending me the other size so i got a free set for an s1 lol .

To let you know the focus RS head gaskets are virtually the same as all the others. Just get a series 3 triple layered one, came standard on all 2.0 Focus and are proven past 400bhp as far as i know. About £22 trade at Ford i think.
