The shells RIPE for tracking

Would you sell it to someone knowing it might be tracked?

 

Once it's been sold the new owner can do as they please, but it would be a shame to put something so clean on a track to be abused.

I know that's what people will say they are built for but......

I've noticed S2 going up in price for the right cars

 

I owned it and I hated driving it!....hence I don't own it

No I didnt buy S2, that was the one I had early last yr just regret selling it so left the pic lol. the xr3i is now xr challange spec but will be used on the road for a bit....not sure how the coilovers will perform on the roads!

must say its a relief to drive a usable car again...but still see the pics of b801ycp and do miss it

 

Are starting next racing season then???

 

mmm i want to and i can afford to but i dont know if i want to spend money on thrashing a car on a track. might need an engine rebuild before I even start testing though. lol

 

Small update - after being offered a sale on the car which seems to have completely fell through (time wasters) i've decided to enjoy the car and buy another rs as well to keep me going for a while.

So i started the winter jobs early:

-Removed the rear bumper due to small bend in the centre, so i'm just waiting for the new painted item to return. The boot lock was sticking so i've stripped that apart and rebuilt it.



And the other bits i want to get done before xmas:
-Change window weather strips
-Remove alternator heat shield and thermostat housing and repaint
-Change both check straps on the doors
-Source a new distributor sheild

Had a small mark on the dash repaired and it's done to a very high standard




And i think i have found a completely standard part 90 spec G reg black erst to play with as well but more info after the weekend

A mate did it who works for the franchise Chips away - he does all sorts of touch ups - the work on the dash is very good - painted with a textured paint
