well has we are hear i suppose i had better mention the latest mod that will be done after the carbon pieces come back ,after speaking with the carbon guy about my idea and seeing aswell that he did not want loads of orders before he would do it ,i am having a new roof made in carbon fiber ,earlier in the year i was going to make a metal sunroof but this has been binned in favour of this.new roof will have no sunroof so the first job was to track down a non sunroof model ,this actually took about 2 months ,was looking out for a mk3 or mk4 as above the gutters the roof skin is the same,so he could take a mould from it ,walked into my local scrappy one day and found a nice little mk3 so we cut the roof off it

I know what you mean mate but only a handful of cars run carbon / kevlar roof skins or panels.... and its fairly new to the world of us mere mortal average Joes who own fords..
