A small update ,have a lot of bits on order from Ford ,mainly smaller items etc,picked up me new clutch today and steering rack ,track rod ends and new front bearings,also sorted out me braided brake lines so they should be with me soon
Repainted servo fitted
Reconditioned steering rack Ł23
Also gave the block a coat of paint,will give it a second one when laquered the head etc.The colour has come out more grey with the flash,but it looks really nice in the flesh

Hi dave...just a quick question...whats the drive like with the polybushes all round? i heard it makes the car pretty harsh and bumpy (even with konis wound down to soft)?

man is the a bit of dirt i see on that gearbox tut tut dave cant be having that lol
looking wkd i was just looking at some old engine bay pics and it was bloody top notch before cant wait to see what its gunna look like when its done

Picked up most of the bits from Ford today ,still more on order
Spent the rest of the day working on painting the gearbox.
Gearbox all prepped ready for primer.
Etch primer
First coat of base on ,wanted to do the gearbox anthracite
All base coat on
Finished product all glossy,got to get some stainless bolts and will be putting the new end plate on (gloss black)
Hope you like it ,i am really pleased with how it came out.
Spent the rest of the day working on painting the gearbox.

Spent most of the day prepping and painting various items for the engine ,here is a few piccys
Fitted my new clutch plate today as it was apart thought i would renew it
Block and head all painted and ready,when this is in sump is going for powder coating.
Fitted the powder coated end plate and new seal for the gearbox ,used stainless bolts for this ,as i will for the sump aswell
Prepping and painting the alternator.
Masked up
Hi etch primer
mmmmmmm Shiney
Will let dry then paint the band black.
Starter just needed a clean up
Hose clip on the gearbox (will be going silver)
Engine mount,outer case is powder coated black
New brake t-peice and spacers
Brake line clips for bottom of chassis
Hope you like them ,should have more to update tuesday eve
