Default underside resto

just wondering what is the best way to finish and protect the under body of the car (s2 erst) i want it to look realy good but well protected.i will be powder coating all the bits and want the underside the same quality.i was thinking black hammerite or underseal and get it painted.what do you all think is the best way to go.the car is black and i use it every day

I would just clean the underside, scrape and derust any areas a bit iffy, then touch in any removed stone chip with some over paintable stonechip, then apply a good zinc paint such as davids zinc paint, then as its black then brush paint over this with some external non drip gloss, I did this to a car many years ago and its still fine now, and the finish and gloss was very good.
