Agree totally mate, the ambers made your car IMO! Looks gash now, still an awesome little track car but just looks gash!

well with the ring trip only 2weeks away

i need to finish a few things off

think i mght lower it a touch more

4 brand new r888's and some spares

newly modified ADJ TCA's with big thanks to Paul (noddy escort)

used Paul custom made camber gauge and with an unknown floor lever

passenger front is -2 degrees
drivers front -1 degrees

so i guess i need to know if the floor level, thats the next step

some of the wheels aren't black as you can see,

but that will soon get sorted

and as you can see i put some new paint on the floor and on the walls

Dont think they are too bad on a 205 mate.

I have seen a few being done albeit by a guy in the window trade but it took him half hour tops

it was an option.

if you say the conversion of the VAG was say 4k

i might as well just buy the supercharger kit for my engine

as with std engine its 280 bhp, with low comp pistons is 400bhp

hardly any gain of weight, but a shit load more power

and the supercharge kit is around 3-4k i think

but for now its staying std, as i want it to corner and stop the best i can get it, with out going stupid

ok, a little update on the 205,
i have modified the TCA's so they sit futher in the car, the inner rear is welded in place while the inner front is still adjustable
and we cut and re-welded the outher sleve further out so there was more threads inside the insert for safety, due to us having the arm further in

here is my new rear hatch, quite please with it (although it took a while to get here) and i still haven't had my bonnet

and here is what it weights

decided to hang the rear hatch
onnc i the marked out the hinge locations
it turns out, that i just needed to drill our the two indents on the hinge, as the hatch has 2 screms to hold it in place, where as the OE has one.
this is the result

decided to tidy the garage up, as it was a mess and i wanted to park both cars in there

so put the 205 at a nice angle and started progress,

started by removing the rad and front grill, as i wanted to put the GTI6 alternator back on as it was running on the 1.9 8v alternator

Next i fitted my machined thermostat housing, which has been sat in the garage for ages, as it removes the plastic gti6 one, so i can run a 8v top hose

Next i removed the bonnet, ready for the fibreglass one, and removed the slam panel to get to the windscren motor which needs a over haul as it runs slow, if it dont work i'll put a new 106 one on there

I next removed the front valance, as i wanted to move the oil cooler to sit behind where the front fog lamp was (driver side) as passenger side will feeb the air filter
