Thanks Mark Just had the engine stripped down and all looks good if you look on first pic the turbo manifold has had the bracket that the actuator goes to made longer does any one know why someone has done this

dave cos4x4 i've done my bit now its down to my mate when hes sprayed it then i will have the fun putting it back together , Now all i got to do is get the engine back the the fun will begine

good and bad news good news is going to put the s1 back together innside Bad news dont get the kit back untill 2 weeks time due to being 110miles away from mum and dads But will get pics this wk end of it so far

just been going though the burton power mag of the parts for the engine rebuild im up 2 £300 already and that for a couple of of bolt and a set of samco hoses before any one asks it going to be a standard rebuilt but it should get it ready all complet for 18 april

I though'ly know were you are , we will have to meet up when my s1 up and running my mate mite bring his s2 out if he has'nt broken it (in the last 2 times that ive been down i've has to fix it )

was going to do work on the s1 this wk end but i've fooked my v8 landrover
so will be fixing that this wk end
but good news i've got a brake kit for the front using grany cosworth calapers and 2wd cosy disks for a straight swop for the tyres in the pick above

cheeRS m8 Burtons have at long last delivered my parts today so hopfully will be able to get the engine back together got a couple of pics of some of the parts i'll get them up soon m8 not going down essex untill next wkend

thanks m8 did you get the pic of the back box it was black with dirt when i got it i spent 2 days cleaning it a then polishing it
