blew the rear diff up at classic ford on the sunday but done a few 11.7 sec 1/4`s before it let go on the saturday
heres a few pics and one of the poorly diff lol
put another standard 4x4 cos diff in for now as im racing at york this weekend, but will soon have a uprated one i think

done a 11.5 on the 1/4 mile today at york, so i was very pleased with that and won the ford shoot out for the fastest road car

Old Fords Never Die
This car is awesome mate, still looks like a very clean base MK3 with nice alloys. At the traffic lights the saxo boys would think may be an RS Turbo conversion, but not a serious 4X4 Cosworth.

cheers lads and that lad in passenger seat is neil from fast ford.
not yet bri, i was thinking of putting the engine in on thursday, im going to start another resto thread for that 1

off to brunters on thursday 19th july for a redline feature, think the timing gear is going aswell as ive heard there is a few other motors going, anyone else there

Its a multi million pound project to get a vulcan bomber from the cold war back up into the sky where she belongs.

a update on the mk3, jobs for the winter
new turbo
stack dash or simlar
get dashboard flocked
new heavy duty front and rear diffs, shafts and mounts
fully adjustable rear beem, castor camber etc
adjustale front arms, strut tops etc
new bigger intercooler with bigger pipe work
another remap to arround just over 500 bhp (limited with engine)
probs a few other bits and bobs
new turbo`s quite big
new turbo

i dont think my bonnet is going to shut with this new turbo on, had a quick look today, maybe with the bonnet raises in it might just rest on it, its the actuator being on th top that might be a problem 
ill get it fitted properly soon as i cut the block for the altenator drop bracket. fitted the new intercooler and rs500 sized pipe work, ill get a pic up soon as its on, looks mad witha 4" inlet

Would you not cut the bonnet mate for the turbo itself? somewhere on the lines of the silver swedish escos? that would look the bollocks

quick update, stage 3 rear axle coming soon from danny b at adrenaline, new rs500 intercooler fitted with 500 size outlets, rs500 size samco pipe work fitted, new air fiter and 4" inlet pipe to go on new turbo and just got these for the front from tony
