**UPDATE**
Okay ive been a bit slack and not updated this for a while but here we go!
Fitted bonnet pins to my lovely mint ford bonnet!!
And fitted my harnesses and tidyed the rear up a little bit!!
Now Ive been having a play with my latest toy and I fitted this to my dashboard aswell.
Heres a clue...
And here it is mounted to my dash.
LM1 wide band lambda.
Will get the lambda sensor welded into the exhaust but its okay where it is for now.
And im really impressed with the LM1 and ive now done about 20miles in the car and its been really usefull knowing what the fueling is doing!!
Anyway thats it for now.
Thanks for reading.

Theres nothing wrong with standard 1600i seats, theyre
But, read this http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/safety-equipment.html
Particularly this bit: "A harness with folding road seats and mounting points at floor level is positively dangerous: in a rollover, the seat is likely to break, putting all of the force through your now-unprotected back. A broken back is the likely result. If you have road seats, stick to seat-belts, perhaps supplemented with a CG-Lock to help keep them tight."
I used to use harnesses on my reclining seats for track days only, but i dont bother any more after reading that... When i read it i did more research and that seems to be the common view on recliners with harnesses. I used to think that harnesses would be good in a heavy front impact, but in such a situation there will be a strong downward force on the top of the seat where the harnesses go through which can snap the seat hinges, squashing you down into the seat, causing back injuries.
So, thats why i wondered if you were gonna fit some "Proper seats"

Not updated this for a while so thought it best that I did!
Been giving the car a shakedown over the last month and even made it to the Northants show aswell.
Still need to get the suspension set-up and the engine too but the wide band has identified the need for a bit more fuel up in the rev range so ive fitted this:
ERL Fifth injector.
I would like to go for some sort of management (EFI, Omex, Cosworth) but with the sort of power im after, I cant justify the expense at the moment and im keen just to get out and use it this year!!
Oh and I fitted the rear plastic windows aswell
Thats its for now - going to give it a run tomorrow night ready for the drive down to coombe on Saturday morning.
Thanks

Car looks awesome Gary
You get the windows from Airdale Race Components
The sliders make a hell of a noise when you go fast as the chain and pin is fucking useless
I need to get some felt where the windows slide to stop them rattling and opening at high speed. I think some velcro would go well too to stop them opening as the pins just drop out
