brakes arrived yesterday from crn products grooved diskd with red stuff pads. from what i can see theyre just normal disks that theyve had machined but at the price i paid its perfect as the pads alone would normally be Ł120/130

and just a quick insite into something im doing . . . more pics when the cam cover comes back from machining!

prepped and painted cam cover (again) just need to flat paint of high spots and polish then laquer. you get the idea with the coils and you can see where theyve been machined down, i think the coils look pretty factory, a good fit!!

the magic word!!

not sure weather to put a 3.9 in it??

and because in using a 2wd manifold now the actuator bracket that was welded on wasnt needed cos il just use a bolt on one and they look ugly with two!! (took me fuck*n ages to even cut this off with air saw!!)

start

all ground up

and polished. not the best but will do for now til new turbo

good work there mate.

thats the only problem with having the bracket welded on and you need to spin the housing around.

carry on the good work.

No!!! They have more teeth on the crown wheel meaning that they are smaller teeth to fit them all on the wheel. That makes them weaker. If you want to drop it down to a 3.9, use a 3.9 rear diff with a set of 3.9 drop gears in the transfer box.

I could get a few of those strengthener plates knocked up for not much money.
