Just spoke to Deflex where I got my bushes.
The rear beam mount bush in question is intended to be fitted so that the spacer is between the beam and the chassic and not under the beam. That said I was also told that the thin spacer bush (not the main cone shaped one) is not always required for all cars in the range.
With this in mind I quess it isn't really essential which way but in my opinion these polyurethene bushes are prone to squashing up so i'll be fitting the spacer above the cone as already done and keeping an eye on them as they seat in after so many miles.
I'm expecting the spacer top compress a little and hold the beam between it all but on that i could be wrong.

The way I looked at them was like this, the main bush which you press in has got some raised 'bobbles' on the top of it,what would you say these are for????????
Going against the chassis I reckon
The other flat/spacer bush has got a recess around the hole in the centre of the bush,if you look at the plate that bolts upto the beam it has got a raised part around the centre hole, which fits into the recess on the flat/spacer bush perfectly
Also if you have a look at Powerflex bushes(which I removed from my beam to have it powdercoated)they don't come with the flat/spacer bush, and the amount sticking out of the top of the beam is the same as the Deflex cone bush, but the Deflex is smaller on the underside of beam,so I reckon spacer goes there
I've had a full 4 wheel alignment check/set-up and nothings out,so mine will be staying like they are

Yeah m8,the big cone one which you press in,and the flat one which I have got fitted between the plate and the beam

And theres bobbles on the standard bush where it sits against chassis
Looking at the pic below of the standard bushes has made me even more sure I've fitted them correctly!!!!
The beam doesn't move hardly at all with poly bushes fitted,if you look at pic of standard bushes there is the same amount sticking out of the top of the beam as there is on mine with the Deflex bushes fitted

CosKev
The bobbles are too far towards the outer edge of the bush to sit in that recess m8
And theres bobbles on the standard bush where it sits against chassis
Got any pics of the bottom bracket?

hi jus had another look and theres pretty much the same amount sticks out of the bottom as the top, and the bush will def only go in one way has anyone any idea if there design has changed for any reason? i cant see what reason for but. nightmare it will lower beam quite a bit!

hi lewis heres an update just for you . . . moanin bast**d lol
boost guage just arrived today a real deal brand new of ebay 30 quid! its an electric boost guage with its own map sensor with peak recall and warning light (wnt be using this tho as the guage only goes up to 30psi but will look good lol
had a full set of these guages in my fiesta and they work perfect, fast/accurate so will be getting more. only thing is this is a big one, not the normal 52mm
