Power steering?
Can anyone give me some idea of how power steering works?
I am starting a project ive been thinking about for a while wanting to convert me mk4 RS escort to power steering.Obviously i need some sort of suitable rack mounting in the manual steering racks place and a pump which is not a problem because some mk5 escorts had power steering and still used the cvh engine. But what will i need to pipe it all up and get it working? Anyone any ideas??

apart from the gym, some one used a nissan bluebird rack but i think he made custom track road ends to fit bit of a head ake but worht a try
or a vauxhall corsa as its not the rack that is powerded its the steering coloum :O that has also been done on here to a mk2 fiesta with some modification
