Went down the paint shop last week to strip more bits off & been down tonight to swap alloys as the Comps are now sold.

Oh & got given a 18" RL7 FOC . Thats a set of 5 now all with the correct offset

Engine bay loom coming out......


All out now, since then the Inj are now out & the Bailey Damper has gone to.

Few pics with the RL's back on, but they'll be coming off soon as it comes home.

RL's are staying mate...there getting locked away soon as the car comes home.

I've got RL's on my saff in white what wheel nuts are you using and have you used longer wheel studs and have you used the inserts on the wheel itself?

Little Update:

Picked up the new alloys yesterday whilst at Wales Rally GB. Big THANKS to Paul 3drRallySlag for keeping hold of them for a couple of weeks

Another Update:

Sent my Secs Monitor & Lambda lead back to Ryan (Car Looms UK) and asked him to make me a full new loom up after selling the Pectel.

BIG UP SHORTY

My man Shorty, sorted me a set of Brand New Black of his man at a very cheap price. He did this all while i was sat in work. Big up yourself Shortsuff

Also got a new chip/Cosed Loop & -34 off Stoopers



The jigsaw is finally coming together now.....just need the antique back now to get the loom in new belt on etc then i can get the gearbox out and down to Marco

looking good mate how did you manage to get a free rl7? i need a free 18 old style comp lol regarding the loom who do i need to talk to? my 3 door come with the same loom as yours i think but its got the plugs for air injectors but im not running them just using amal valve, need to know what i do cheers mate looking forward to seeing yours out next year

The RL7 was given to me a friend who has a 3dr 4x4 Rally Car, he was having a clear out and as i bought the 4 Racelines off him, the spare was no good to him and was the correct offset for me I need a spare 18" old style one myself, What offset is yours as if i find 2 can always sort something out

Regarding the loom, speak to Ryan but im prety sure your loom was made by Dingy so be better off asking him 1st i think. both of them are very good at making these looms so you've the 2 options matey

But atleast its in the warm booth out the way of the weather and dust. Im hoping he's gonna do it over the holiday so i can go down and build it up, but i aint gonna rush him as its a freebie job. Ive done all his signs etc.

Small Update:

Im still not decided what im doing regarding rear lights yet....orange or tints it all depends how good or bad the front looks with the ambers on. But with that i bought some new rear seal but couldn't remember were id put them lucky enough i found them now

Plus whilst the engine bay is in pieces i got Robbie (The Diva) to get me a few bits powder coated, so with all the original spares i took off when the polished stuff went on, that went to be powder coated. I originally wanted Crackle Black but with everyone going that route lately ive gone for satin black instead. Also a big thanks to dave cos4x4 for taking his spare throttle bracket off so i could get painted

its not what you know but who you know ay mate sorted the loom thanks the offset is et 30 i think??? what offset are yours? like wise mate i'll keep my eyes open for a couple if yours are the same offset i was thinking of getting my bits done crackle black but thought the same, so you gonna be out on the track next year then? me too

 

Mine are ET32 same as the RL's. But i can always space it if its a spare (if thats the size you come across)

Im hoping to be on track next year. Think Dingy said Croft is all booked up now but id like to do Castle Combe.

Think Castle Combe its June time...i know its always hot but i missed last years event.

 

Croft is going to be in September Paul, so can do both.

Update time:

My boys in Pro Clean have done me proud again and refurbed the wheels, but with waiting a few weeks for tyres they kept hold of the rims. Today i finally got my arse in gear and got some tyres to them



Just waiting on the anodised black and blue centre caps off Martoooon now
