Brilliant stuff Gary
The other thing to consider is a large actuator which you can mount to the shifter and trigger through your ECU to actuate on a shift light output and at the same time engage the flat shift setting in the ECU

AMS
Great looking build. Ought to be a screamer. I took my Merkur into their place a few years ago. They were a fairly new operation, and already had the look of being a player. They got out of the Ford 2.3 turbo stuff. Merkur owners are typically cheap, as the cars aren't particularly expensive to buy over here. Anyway, they always were enthusiastic, and tried to make their clients happy. I for one was. If I move back to the Chicago area, they will be the ones to tune & dyno my Merkur V-8 conversion. Good luck with the project mate.

We only have AMS bits on the car, we did all the work, not AMS!!
The dash is in now and looking REALLY nice. Will get some pics when we can get the car outside into better light.

Fixing the bloody car...
Stunning work by the pair of you and it's really got me thinking again about what my next car will be... would involve a hefty loan, though
Won't be long now 'til it's back on the road (or track) then, Gary?

Ever wondered what a gear-kit looks like that costs about the same as it would cost you to actually buy an Evo 4??
Yes, it's a PPG Dog Engagement Gearset. That's gonna make some fooking noise.
Here it is next to the old gearset.....
It's having a strain-gauge type set-up too, so it can have some clutch-less full-throttle changes.
