Oh little update but no pics yet i bought an fse boost valve yesterday and fitted it this morning and the car flies now and the flat spot from 1-2500 revs has dissapeared thank god but it'll still want setting up no doubt,

Yeah 60mm will be mental matey Im down 40mm and its murder!!!!!!! Plus the track rod ends will never last lol!!!

Im after an FSE but didnt think they were too great.

Slight update but no pics, Car is in loads of bits as me and my mate attempted the water pump yesterday with no haynes manual and no idea what we were doing so it kind of went wrong lol, More updates as and when i get it sorted out cheers, Grant

Update again the wter pump is now done all cam belt and everything done and pumping water like a good un lol and all done by me and my mate who to start with didn't have a clue lol,

Now the problem i still have is a whining / grinding noise so i'll be investigating that for the next day or so and i promise i'll get pics soon,

My mate thinks its the alternator bearings and i think its the pas pump but as i have both spare im not at all worried anyway pics up soon cheers Grant

Good luck with your project mate. We have just sold my mothers black 3i reg;K722 HOO via ebay. Small world eh? We put some rs2000 recaros in,and the difference was amazing. Those wing back seats are dogshit!
Also you seem to have a slight wheel fetish! Get some 17's on it and slam the fooker. Will look a lot better.

Well folks i'm back sorry for the delay for the last month i've had a lot of shit to deal with and workin 7 days a week which ain't good if ya got a car to sort out lol,

Oh and the grinding / whining noise was the auxillary belt tensioner which i've since replaced, The car is going in tomorrow hopefully to have the new outer sills fitted,

Then once its back from the welders i'm gonna underseal the whole car front to back but luckily i've already done under the spare wheel well,

Hopefully soon after its home and undersealed its on to the mot then the plan is to refurb my 17's and do them white (AND YES GAZ AND DOUGIE I STILL HAVE THE SAME WHEELS LOL) then get the car lowered and onto the body work side of things

RIGHT UPDATE TIME,

Here goes due to work and family i've had no time for the car so it's as it was last time i updated but.... Things are very much about to change, Yesterday i ordered a pair of outer sills which will arive at my mates unit (where the car is now) on monday so he's gonna get them on.

NOW FOR THE NOT SO GOOD BIT, After all the hassle i had doing the water pump and cambelt the fookin head gasket has let go

So convieniently i've just been offered an 80,000 mile 2 litre mondeo with front end damage for Ł100, You can guess whats coming next yes i'm ripping it apart and converting mine to 2 litre in the next few weeks so look out for some updates, Glad to be back cheers, Grant
