well i havent updated this thread for ages so i will do it now!
well since then i got myself some polybushes all the way round,
vibratechnic gearbox mounts,
standard black clocks,
Standard alloys,
Alloy Rad,
cossie discs,
Zetec gearbox as i broke standard rs turbo one,
-31 actuator
orange front and side indicators,
front spotlamps back on,
refurbish standard alloys,
build decent set of recaros,
i also got the car booked in to the bodyshop and had rear quarter and boot painted as they were getting manky and a new spoiler fitted,
think thats about it, will put pics up now!
Quick Run at PJ's:
a couple of show pics 2007:
on its way to Ford Fair, wheel bearing died 2007:

dismantled it:
put the missing bolts back onto the gearbox from when we missed the 1st time around!
new shiny rad:
new shiny actuator:
pic of crossover pipe which i painted up then sanded down the finns and ford logo, will probably do that on everything else as im not it chrome that much:
rad fitted:
fans fitted, only the kenlow may be staying on at the mo, finding it hard to get the other to fit with the intercooler:
intercooler, going to have the staps moved and rewelded so they are in a more suitable mounting position:

ok so on the weekend i got slightly carried away lol!
i started by taking out the seats:
and then i got all my recaros together:
and then i attacked em all:
so now i ve got one set of mint recaros and 1 rough set to sell on yey!!!
and then i still had a bit of spare time so i did this:
and ended up with this:
how pimping does look lol!!!!
thats not my alloy so dont wory its just one of my many spares with some spare paint slapped on it to see how we could get them looking!
what i really did was this:
basically sanded down all the rough bits, chips flaking paint etc and primered em up, it is currently sat with silver paint on and its first layer of lacquer but coz its a bit cold im waiting to finish it off properly!
so enjoy until thus when i do some more work!

finally got it prepped and painted:
primered it all with rattle cans just for ease, then used compressor:
and painted it all up:
my mate lacquered it up with rattle cans as well just for ease:
then we matt blacked some of the other bits:
redoing the inlet though not sure what to actually do with it!!!
the crossover has had the turbo lettering sanded back and is now silver looks really good!
got the loom set out so we can check its all ok:
can i just check with people is this an ignition amp?:

got a new problem now though, my map sensor is broke! tried dismantling it but obviously they are sealed up rather well, i do have another map sensor same style case and everything as the grey one which i believe is a 4bar map sensor but its black and has a different code on it, its from a FRST is this also a 3bar map sensor or not?

Well i better update this as i have had a lot of work done and its nearly ready!
slightly out of order as i missed this bit before:
ta da all gone:
left it hanging:
so ended up with this mess:
but after a bit of these two:
got it like this:
it doesnt look much in the pictures but it was soooo much cleaner in the engine bay than before, no grease or dirt.
then we started prepping:
bit of sanded down parts:
the plan is to fill over as many unused holes in the engine bay and give it a lick of paint before putting the new engine back in.!

heres the brains behind the operation actually doing some work:
and finally it got its first bit of fresh air today, although it didnt make it under its own steam i don now have a fully working electrical system:

Just had the carpet out on mine today and was expecting to see something like that but wasnt as bad as this, nice to see you have done a good job with it.
Looking like you are doing well with all this mate. All engine work looks quality. Cant wait to see some photos of it outside in sun running smoothly. Keep it up.
