started replacing the fuel lines, got rid of this:
as it was scabby and had that strange curl in it for this:
nice braided item will look better when fuel filter is where its suposed to be, also got 1 from fuel pump to filter but this bolt is stopping me fixing it as its rusted itself together!
well im still waiting for the banjo bolts for the coolent pipes,
but i did manage to get the bolt off the one way valve but i had a new fuel pump to fit as well as the lines so thought id do it all in one go but i knew this would lead to more problems and suprise suprise the bolts and rubber that hold the fuel cradle in place were snapped and rusty, looked on ebay and theyve only got bits of them, looked on Auto Specialists and its 120quid for a full new cradle so thought fook that!
Went up westhoughton and got bolts washers and some rubber grommets and made my own! here are todays pics:
how it should look:
here is what it actually looked like:
so i made my own:
and then got new pump into the bracket:
then all in place:
and my new lines:
and fuel filter in place with new lines:

well i couldnt go donny so i thought id do some work in the garage and on the car:
put my flag up
then painted my spare rocker cover as it was starting to go rusty
and then i set about fitting my spot lamps now because of the front mounted intercooler it was impossible to put them in the original lace so i got a bit creative:
and done, looks quite good now im chuffed as it looks completly standard on the outside now:
