went down today to drop of some more bits that had arrived, and got the camera
so heres the pics to take you up to date
o/s sill getting the same treatment as the n/s
windscreen out and scuttle mods/repairs
all rubbed down and ready for what ended up being about 6 coats of primer
primered and some paint
n/s sill now couldn't really get the pic to come out to show how good it does actually look
n/s door (don't woory those latches arent staying)
slam panel (well bit of!)

cheers Muck
now the job of getting someone to fit the tyres without marking them
I was going to go to Glasgow to let them fit them, but he fcuked the machine trying to put a tyre on one for a pic for me
should be decent when you get back, there should be 3 quality cars getting back on the road about the same time will need to go for a good run somewhere
(Paul you can join in with your award winning escos )

Been given a date, and it is my final date that I was thinking as well as I'm running out of time for Edition38 so fingers crossed there are no issues with the paint

Well I went down today to drop more bits off today and had to take a double take as I drove past the big door to the workshop
the dark car at the back was now all shiny
The car was meant to be going to a differant bodyshop for paint as he was wanting to use his mates full oven, unfortunately the owner of the other bodyshop decided to have a little holiday in the middle of this for no less than 3 weeks , and then on his return had a back log of work, and due to this we wouldn't be able to use his booth until the END of this week start of next! plus this is about 30 miles away and involved trailoring etc!
So he decided to do it in his own booth, unbeknown to me (sneaky bugger )
but I'm glad to say that it has made absolutely no difference, and the paintwork is looking awesome 4 coats of paint, and 4 coats of lacquer
here's a little taster, taken with my phone so not best
bits still to be done are the bonnet, sunroof, the bumpers and some other bit's that I want to have a shine on
was actually quite funny when I walked in, I was trying SOOOOO hard not to smile like a chesire cat and show how pleased I was with it, well he's still got work to do yet

yeah yeah, once this little project is finished ( for this year anyway) I'll be hitting the gym that I'm paying for
yeah trial fitted the brakes, hence the 20mm spacers, no way were the Keskins offset going to clear the Brembo's otherwise So it was a question of what was going to be sacrificed, the wheels for the brakes or vice versa??? and the answer was none, get spacers
