Another Update
Finally got hold of a Pro Alloy fuel tank due to a certain board member changing his spec again
Big thanks to Jamie
Unfortunately the tank was specced for an Escos so a quick phone call to Alex @ Pro Alloy and i had a flush fit cap and spill tray on the way.
Removed the filler spout and replaced it with the filler cap.
The tank is foamed filled with an internal collector to feed the fuel pump without the need for a lift pump/swirl pot set up. Quick pic showing the foam
The tank came with a mounting plate with built in spill tray that fixes to the boot floor, and then the tank then bolts to.

Had our local RSOC Group show today at Crealy Adventure Park near Exeter. Turned out to be a disaster as we had torrential rain all morning We called it a day after lunch and drove home only to be greeted by blue skies and sunshine 10 mile down the road

Time for a handling update
I've been busy road testing my new beam this week and everything was going well until the fuel injector o seal on No1 decided to blow out
I still can't believe the car didn't catch fire.
Fuel has 'power washed' the paint off the cam cover
Also when checking the beam/suspension over on wednesday night i found a large bulge in the sidewall of the OSF wheel
However the beam/handling is so much better that the 'budget' tyres on the MOs were beginning to struggle So swopped them for my lightweight 17' Team Dynamics Pro Races with Yoko Paradas
The smaller wheels and the paradas improved it even more
I've now got to the point where i run out of talent before grip becomes an issue
Couple of pics of car on black wheels
The Comps are going in for a refurb at the powder coaters and will get fitted with a nice set of Paradas wehn i get them back. Just got to decide on what colour ????
White, anthracite or maybe blue

Glad the beam has done the trick mate, and as said i'm bloody pleased that it wasn't the end for the car! Could have been nasty!
