At last, the project is starting to get well under way - all the main parts have been collected together and as soon as the taxi shell has been removed by the scrapman, or whoever wants the thing, then its time to make a start on the zeemer
So far I have aquired the following parts
1991 H reg 320i SE - full electrics etc etc, 1 owner from new, FBMWSH, 94k on the clock
- £550

Totally rot free in all the usual rot places, Needs 2 new rear arches as they are bubbleing a bit, but something and nothing
Full E30 M3 front and rear axles complete with M3 suspension, Brakes and uprated pads and discs, Polybushes and goodridge braided hoses, 3.64:1 LSD and driveshafts

A SEXUAL Set of BBS Wheels- 17"x8.5" - yes, eight and a half inch WIDE
shod with Pirelli P-Zero rubber (225/40 for the rear and 215/40 for the front

Full M-tech 2 bodykit, Genuine M3 rear wing and a leather tech-2 steering wheel

More updates to follow once i've gotten the project underway

Sounds just like what i did in an E30

Project is looking awesome gracey, going to be a fantastic car when its finished
Gonna be a cracking little car mate, parts bin was looking a bit full yesterday.
Still think you should have kept the taxi and got a rear beam, but fair play for doing the BMW
Keep the updates coming

Nice to see things are mobing along nicely already though mate, looks like it's gonna be a wicked project, something along the lines of the old Rudd Racing one!

OK People, here are a few more pictures of what I've been upto yesterday morning and this morning also
Essentially, stripping the M3 parts down to seperate components, wire-brushing them (angle grinder with wire wheel
) and then giving them a couple of coats of paint
Rear Slip-Diff looking nice and blue

Rear Arms looking nice and black

Front kingpins and suspension legs in nice black

Front and rear calipers in a lovely shade of Blue

Gave the nearly new front discs a going over with the wire wheel also, once again, they looks nice and fresh
- Note the front anti-rollbar also

Complete set of polybushes came with the M3 goodies - all as new, and also a set of Goodridge braided brake hoses too

Thats all for the next couple of days, The best bit will start once the shitheap taxi shell has been removed and I can get the BMW into the garage for working on it

have you considered the m3 rack as they are also 2.5 lock to lock and i also heard that there is an e36 rack which i think is the 318 is one which is 2.5
they may make fitting a little easier
excellent project really looking forward to the outcome
ps leave the bay red and do the outside black !!

The M3 rack is LHD - my car is RHD.
Reyland will not be doing the mounts, all will be made in-house at my workshop
