anyway me and Stu did a few hours on it today, just basically fitting bits, making bits and breaking bits

would have fitted the lights today but ive bloody lost the clips :x

I almost bought A16 XRT but at the time of buying the plate, i was intending to keep the XR2 standard


Bugger- its gone now , ah well, hindsights a bastard!!

Hoefully got all the parts to get the fooker running now, and now England are out of the world cup, i can give some more time to it



I HOPE to have it running for weekend, but it will only be on axle stands as i still have to send the Ledas of for a full refurb - more fooking money

Foook, no way was this 8 years ago.

I almost got the car finished, then sold it to my mate Stu with the orange XR2 TT. Who in turn took the 2.1 out, rebuilt it, and put his old 1.6 turbo in it and sold it to his mate.

Engine is still going strong and running around 260bhp.

A16XRR is undergoing a full nut and bolt rebuild in a garden shed in Middleton and by the looks of her, is going to be like brand new when done



and heres the 2.1 at the moment




Unfortunately after this xr2 turbo, i bought a subaru and then a load of vw's..

Now the prices of Fords make me cry, especially looking at my old photos and seeing the mk1 xr2 i sent to the crusher. (STOOOPID)
