We almost worked through the whole night assembling and
sorting things on the cossie. there actually were times where i thought
its never gonna get done and now i almost cant beleive it is
At this point I need to mention that without the help from martin and greg (xsport) that were here to pickup the car and ended up working on it all day long I would not have succeeded. A BIG BIG BIG THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU
Enough bla bla, heres the pics that you have been waiting for :
almost bye bye car:
funny faces:
getting it tied down onto the trailor
interior fully done
proper rain slicks on proper wheels
dieter, the main mechanic
Martin and my RS6 watching greg getting stuff done
Mr. Xsport @ work
rear diff and gearbox coolers
surge tank:
bulkhead with fuel fittings and front diff pump
hydraulic clutch
now the car is going to Xsport, then SCS, Pro Alloy and to the exhaust people.....so be patient, the next pics are track ones

rear coolers are form an american company called fluidyne. they come with an airbox on one side and a fan.
i modified it with an airbox on the other side as well and put a duct into the sidescreen so that the air when driving is pushed through them.
at the same time, sorry no pic of it, i put a thermostat in the diff covers and gearbox to activate the electrical oil pumps
michael
hope that was understandable....LOL

Looks nice . Obviously I will keep the post alive with picture updates from this end ,
Only thing is, I think the car is going to be 1300kg at this rate with all the fluids added .
Harvey is going to laugh when he sees the overkill you have gone to . Some of these bits would be perfect IF you were going 24 hour racing .

also, i got a digital aim dash with all of its own sensors as a main dash, analog gauges are options

Incredible build spec Fuel tank looks absolutely massive? Cant wait to see it up Knockhill this summer to get a good look at it , Will it be road legal? If so are you considering entering GT Battle?

Greg, from their Southhampton Branch, did an immaculate job
He picked the car up in switzerland, we went over all the little bits and pieces he had to do (70 hours labour)
and everything came out exactly as bespoken, i could not be happier !!!
I strongly suggest to everyone to take their business there, i have rarely had such a great experience when handing
over one of my babies that i am really picky with

From: Essex... and Birmingham!
Great read
Loving it
WICKED car!
By the way... 1200kg is my bet!!!!
To get down closer to 1000kg I would loose the extra gauges, the coolers, fit a pedal box and loose all the ABS and brake servos, and loose the big rear brakes.
Loving it

i know i kept adding weight and i am going to get the bill for it at some point.... anyhow i beleive that what i wanted has been acheived. i was more after a reliable race car that has all the options, no compromise taken. this, as you very well realized, did take its toll in weight.
i will keep changing bits to improve the weight aspect of things but the initial minimalist car is never gonna happen. i do have a new project in mind for that but llemme finish thisone first
on another note :
the engine spec has been changed again......
i have talked myself into 10studding it as well as nikasil liners (this more being the result of mike on the ring ). so the engine build
has just been pushed back another 4 to 10 weeks cause of the liners and the people that are backed up with work @ PerfectBore and Mountune
i officially admit to being the worst when it comes to waiting time....poor rainbird.....
