Default Project Fiesta (first car) update 19/04

right well he goes

its a 1.3 fiesta mistral in silver, M registered jan 95

on 92,000 miles all electrical things are working apart from windscreen
washer jets and the bottle leaks ?

the main idea of me wanting this is to a. learn how to use filler and spray a car properly etc..
and b. to make a bit of money.

as it was last saturday...

and here is (was) the main problem that looked terrible and needing repacing, the front valance..

and a very sad looking rear nearside arch..

work done so far, well it was like this..with a front bumper

to this without a bumper..

and then to this with the valance cut off..

and thats it for today boys and girls, i took off the rear bumper but
was very dark after sorting a few jobs out for my dad. I'll add that
and a couple more pics soon.

tell me what you think, or any advise you want to pass on as it will be
very useful

thanks and lots of love. Pete

SI bumpers are one of my pet hates.
Pete as said before take your time probably everyone who has said that to you has learned the hard way if you get bored dont rush it and leave it for another day.
I think I have a pipercross air filter from an rst what you can have for nowt if its still in my garage.

Not been in this thread for ages,

bit of an update but no pics sorry guys.

front panel is now on and fully smoothed is just in need of painting

Been out and got a new back nearside arch and started grinding away at the car to make way for that when i got back

I've been thinking and for ease i'm going to try and get a set of si bodykit from somewhere even though it may look queer.

So now i need:

si bodykit
a set of alloys
washer bottle bung and motor (i lost the bung )
