Hi all,still visiting here from time to time so i thought i would post a few pics and up date it when things move on etc .
We bought it 3 days before christmas,its a 1990 nissan pulsar gtir,yes its got the umbrella in the drivers B pillar and is fairly modded to begin with but i have plenty of ideas of my own for it !!!

I bought this already to to go on soon and walbro 255 uprated fuel pump !



hope to bring it some some rs shows and track days etc on a visiting car club stand.

 

heres i bit of the spec for you............
some spec for you,as in when i bought it,
HKS decat and front pipe,
modded turbo and uprated actuator,
forge dump valve,
K&N huge induction kit !!!!
DP motorsport exhaust,suspention,brakes,tune...............
cobra side winder front seats,
rear half padded roll cage,
momo s/wheel and gearnob,
helix "i think will check recipts" clutch,
clear and red rear light set,
clear side repeaters,
17" tsw razors i think 205/40/17 tyres, *for sale *
nismo front strut brace,
hks high pressure rad cap,
hks metal headgasket,
short shift gearlinkage kit,etc etc

loads really i cant think of any more lol

clifford,seperate immobiliser,tracker........lots of security ! !



the bits i have done so far.....
hybrid huge front mount intercooler and samco boost pipes,
iridium plugs set, 1 grade cooler,
nismo oil cap,
white lockwood dial kit yes the 7 and yes they still work, lol
full valet,lazy i know

 

them cars are wicked love them!!!!

 

looking good matt just make sure you stick with the fords now

still got sab but not for long i feel,had a good responce on its news on the sale of the old girl.

 

Proper car

Look nice in that colour - our red GTiR will be up for sale this year, but love driving them!

 

nice car mate. Your rear lights are infact standard and not "clear and red"

you can de-amber them from inside though which looks much better

also get a straight filter to turbo pipe run and relocate the battery to the boot or where the filer sits now

get an oil catch can and lose the stock oil seperator. get an oil cooler and put a cap on your overflow tank

but most important of all change the standard brakes (uprating the discs is not good enough really)

once you do all that the cars perfect at 1bar no need to try and do any more IMHO

 

I certainly is mate, tis a shame she's going, but i guess nothing lasts forever....all the best with the new motor tho.

Hi guys,pleasantly supprised with my cars responce on here it been top thanks
I will be fitting the motorsport fuel pump and starting the huge front mount intercooler this weekend.
new wheels,boost controller,BIG brake set up poss front and rear,poly bush everything,a few nice shinny touchs under the bonnet
that for now with of course a lick of paint and TOC retrim
and she will be as we want.

Nice car Matey I used to own one of these but mine was a UK model 'SUNNY GTi-R' in red, loved it to bits

my mrs made the template up for the ic logo and painted in,and an awesome job too !!!!





my brother helped me with the bumper and imo looks good enough for now before it all gets painted propper with the car etc.
its not too bad a job with time,help,room,cups of tea and a handy dremel thing !!!

Plus removing air-con takes 30kgs off the car and what a nasty job it is to get off! But It's do-able!


Hi-Spec are you best bet for brakes 300mm with $ pots are lovely!

Be very weary if a starter motor go's! Days job t get to it and 200 odd quid for a new item!

Also change the transmission fluid and anti-freesze and all fluids when you get the car!

 

tom thanks for the advice,i will be changing all the oil inc gearbox and diffs etc ad antifreeze
the car is not being used really but getting ready
stent the past 2 days on and off fitting motosport fuel pump and huge front mount intercooler which has been fun
the pipe work is huge too and hard work !
but we are getting there

happy days !!! took it to club night yesterday too and all's well !!!!
got a few more things going on
then off for a much needed setup and tune !!!

 

air con is not that difficul to remove at all Tom, took me about 2 hours remember to get a smaller alternator belt

car looks good Matt not a fan of the logo on the IC core though

 

andy....lol it is a little alarming i must admit BUT i have still the mesh to go on which will kill it off a tad
air con may come off but not yet.

the mesh is on now and the logo is quite hard to spot unless your looking
my new wheels are also on,new exhaust on its way then its booked into toc for the week after next for its interior retrim !!!
