they have better looks im lucky really i dont have to muck work on it still origanal pannels it could do with a dash it is cracked it done 103,000 mile must have been looked after !mk3s rule !

Thats a spanker XR3 i'd keep it as is mate they're slowly becoming worth a lot, its obviously and original car escpecially with the 4speed box!
IMO you've got a nice show peice there but if you want to turbo it, its your car and the best of luck!
I know what your saying with cabbies, mines on 17's and lowered what has to be 60mm, nightmare.
The most embarasing bit is when u park on uneven ground and the roof wont line up to lock in place lol
I think the springs are more rigid than the car so it flexes rather than the springs. Going to change them dont wana wreck it!
Let us know how u get on with the car

wish mine was as tidy as that mate
here's a couple of pics of mine
its a turbo model, need a lot of work but the under floor and chassis
are mint and inner wings and inc battery tray have no rust at all
so is a good starting point rusty parts are all basic replacable panels
i'e front valance door's tail gate rear valance.
goona make a start on it when the weather warms up

dont strip it there a classic now and can go for good money

ive had one for 12 years its mint inside just needs some bodywork doing
but not got round to doing it i think its only done about 62,000 with loads of history
