gurgle gurgle pop pop , seems to sound worryingly like a boxer engine, answers on a postcard as to why it would do that

How do you find it drives m8, for both driving round town and higher speed driving? whats the throttle response like in comparison to what it was like previously?, How does it idle?

Sorry for all the questions m8, but this is something im considering doing myself and would just like to get some other peoples experiences with them before I go ahead with it!

the ecu on an rs6i just takes the engine load and speed from a crank sensor and tells the coils when to fire, its all basic stuff and nothing to do with the fuelling, the throttle bodies are purely mechanical and controlled by a fuel pressure sensor, totally separate systems, seems to work ok though

yes mate!

PM me if you want, just interested to know what had to be done to get them to work, a mate of mine bought some carbs from a GSXR1000 he was gonna use on his ZVH but said they were to complex....im guessing these being throttlebodies and not carburettors makes a difference?!...

be interested to hear what had to be done!

They are carbs off of an early, pre injection, R1.

Not FI so no extra ECU needed.

I think people associate TBs with FI but those are deffo normal bike carbs.

HTH

Nice job though, it's good to see something different
