I'd keep the DOHC mate, as said above, its different.
Look at Jason Hodd's mk6 RS 2000 - it was running over 300bhp and 330 lb/ft at something like 11 psi (from memory!) So they do have the potential for big power.
Oh and we have on of those conversions over here in Northern Ireland as well. Saw it at a few of this summers shows. I'll see if i have any pics of it about.

absolutly class mate well done, i never even knew they made these cars, what horse power where they with just the standard turbo conversion? good to see someone else into sierras enough to preserve and run a car like this. i know all about reshelling a sierra i put a twincam engine and running gear into my 1.6 pinto saff, the loom is the worst , went in like a rope through the fuse box
