Ouch..........thats gonna take a while to heal,and the prob with ankle injuries is there never quite right again no matter how good the treatment,I turn my left foot 180 degrees(leg stayed where it was.... 
) on a race bike about 8 years ago and lost one of the blood supplies to my foot as a result,still have days where it locks up,collapses etc........Serves me right tho cos i was pissing around outside the workshop on said race bike with my trainers on,if i was wearing my boots the injury would have been half as bad.... 
Bit graphic but hopefully it will make you think next time you go out on your bike...

my mate was hit by a car while out on his bike the car hit him from the side and smashed his leg . the foot peg went through his leg and it was then bent underneith the bike it took countless operations and over a yoer to rebuild his leg. one of the skin grafts was the same shape as a pice of baicon so this year he got danish tatooed on it which goes to show what people who ride bikes are realy like
