He only got it a few months ago, a totally standard 1.6 GTE.

And then he got some wheels and big brakes



And then found a new engine

Thats absolutly stone mint Where did You find that in the back of a show room!i didnt think there was any ones as original as that left.I used to love my nova it was 2.0 aswel.ppl get a shock when they try to fly past you thinkin your a shitty nova.well done on a amazin find

Thanks for putting them up M.A.D.RST here is a few more.








From a 7" disc to a 12"one,s.



Stripped it to get some welding done on it and just passed it,s MOT sweet thanks for the kind remarks as it aint a ford but i think i make up for it in help on M.A.D.RST,s cossie with thanks chris.

P/S the colour is calipso red standard vauxhall paint.

Nice Nova's! I always wanted a GTE or a GSI,ended up with a 1.3SR..



..replica! Well,i was only 17 My mate was saying he would have his old GSI back anyday,i can see why,id forgotten how good they can look

i used to have a 1.4 sr that i bought standard, was mint, but it found its way into
a telegraph pole

I NEVER thought I'd say this but I quite like the look of the old Nova these days. It looks so different to the modern hatches. That red is really cool colour too.
Right I'm off to beat myself unconcious for admitting to liking a Nova (But at least it didnt have a bad boy bonnet, LED's and Neons)

really nice mate, i still love the cars from the old skool days, i wanted a 1.3sr nova when i passd my test but cudnt find one.

nova's are a good alternative to the fez and i love nova gte/gsi's like the ones on this thread - and the 2.0 conversion fits in neatly!

Thanks again for the nice coments i imust start saveing for a turbo lump now as i've got a rear disc beam but hav'nt had chance to fit it yet.

And that moving shot of that nova is superb , and the silver one makes me want a nova 2.0 16v with the works going for a lie down now
