My restored mk2 xr2
getting a nice little collection now
this one is MINT, MINTY, MINT and cost me quite a few dollars but i think its well worth it..
already had all the hard work done this time....
Mercury Grey with satin black body kit and bumpers it has standard thirteen inch pepper pot alloy wheels which have all (including spare) been professionally powder coated and all have good firestone tyres.
The car has had a full restoration carried out with all the rust and rot cut out and body parts replaced with new ones which consist of: both of the rear arches, front wings inner and outer, new sills, boot floor with new doors and boot lid also a new bonnet fitted, then all re sprayed in original mercury grey.
last September it had a full top and bottom end rebuild and most of the parts renewed such as new oil pressure switch, rings, seals, Kent fast road cam shaft, timing belt, fan belt, followers and carb stripped down and re jetted, K and N air filter, front strut brace fitted, manifold cleaned and painted, new champion ignition leads, EBC Kevlar pads and new discs with new callipers fitted, old corroded brake lines re placed with new ones, new alternator, 30 mm koni lowering springs fitted, new sump, and rocker cover stripped and re sprayed in Lamborghini magic red
LOADS MORE TOO
this car is absoloutely stunning in the flesh, i couldn't say no
Some piccies for you.. mostly wet unfortunately but the ones i took today, i can't get them from my phone to my pc for some bizzarre reason
oh well... to wet your whistle .
p.s. sorry to anyone else who was bidding on this car, its now mine
Massive thanks to Baz who sold it to me, good luck with the R6 m8
will put some better pics in the gallery when i actually pick it up

Looks good mate, and please please PLEASE tell me who makes that strut brace?
As I'm wanting one which you don't have to drill the turrets with as the shell I've got is minty as well, and it's a shame to drill em.
Keep her good!

Unfortunateley m8, the strutbrace looks to be home made and i'm not too sure about what it will actually do !!
its made out of 2 strut top covers welded to a strutbrace, im unsure how safe this is so will get it checked by my rally driver mates and report back, if its all good, ill show detailed piccies of it
cheers for the comments peeps...
clear rears are binned already, just unsure how the "XR2" badges on the wings were put on, so gonna try with a hairdryer tomorrow , hope to god theyre not fooking glued
