thought ide show everyone a couple of pics of my project so far car stared out life as an xr4i which had th rear quarter window conversion genuine cossie kit then repainted ford diamond white ,ive just finished suspension side of things and underside which is a rebuilt xr4x4 lsd back axle, new discs allround ,new shocks and chassis dynamics springs ,all polybushed ,and on a set of ACE i think is the make alloys painted black also is a complete 3dr cossie interior ,engine side of things the car and engine had only done 71k so i am in process of fitting some sorted unleaded heads then i have a turbo technics conversion which is being fitted to the engine and a 3.5" stainless from turbo rite the way through .power wise im im hoping for a puny 225 - 250bhp but a good torque figure from the v6 so will be enough fun for me i know its obviously not a match for a yb but with a family and a van and other car to run its all i can afford so bring on the critisism lol

oh the front bumpers not sat rite due to it not being fixed yet loland the grill isnt in either nor the vents in bonnet before anyone asks

front end is not put back together yet as im doing my engine and dont want to damage anything .cheers for all the commentsso far ive actually got renewed enthuisiasm to finish it now

Glen,

I am in the process of building a 3 door replica and reciently brought glass fibre arches. Do you know whether the original 3 door cosworth has a recess in the sills to mount the arches??? I thought since you built a really good car you may have come accross this problem. I know that the xr4i sills differ from basic sierra but dont know if they are what i need.
