I was wondering what difference 4WD might make, With my Skyline conversion you could get through the first 4 gears with 4wd and then drop it to 2WD where hopefully you have more traction over say 150mph. The centre diff de-couples, I think, so you have just the drag of the front diff and extra weight which I don't think would make much difference with top speed runs.
Your car is clearly spinning up each time it gets up in the rev range, surely if you can get all the power down then you have less time at WOT or even more of the run to do the last bit of the acceleration.....any thoughts Rod?
