Couple of in board Practice runs today from Shelsley
Still getting to grips with the new setup it's weird actually having grip apart from off the line which needs alot of work.
Plus it's still not fully mapped probably only running 450bhp at a guess.
4th Practice run of the day terrible bog down start but faster on all other sectors and splits, if i'd done a better start a 34 second run is on the cards:
When I started rallying I used a 3.9:1 - similar sprints, single venue and I found I just couldn't get the car to flow properly, when I went to a 4.44 the car was so much nicer to drive, and I still probably got the same top speed when using a 3.9 In the long sections.
I bet your getting prob 100+ in 3rd gear, mine tops at around 140 - and even that is too high, but I have a high ratio 5th gear.

Cheers mate, I don't have the originals fitted but had to make up a new rear bench to comply with the rules.

So how come thw rules say it has to have some sort of seat in the back.
It's a Road Going Class so you are meant to run all the trim, but then you are allowed to fit racing seats and harness that then causes issues with the rear seats as they get in the way of the harness so I made up a new rear bench seat out of 3/4" MDF and trimmed it.
The Scrutineers all seem to be happy with it.

Ye theres no padding lol, but been as the both front seats are fixed and the harness run through you wouldn't beable to sit there anyway
