Just put springs under the rear of my saff and it's sitting stupidly high even after a trip up the road so after some pics to see how they after they've settled in
On the rear the shocks don't matter for the ride height. On the front it could be, if the shock has a different length (like for instance an Escos shock vs sapph 4x4, the spring seat is located higher on the Escos).
A 6 degree beam will make the rear sit higher due to the changed spring/wheel leverage ratio though.
I have mine a little go up the road the other night and with the new springs under the rear it does feel very hard to what it used to be , but that might be due to the springs gone weak
Thrown all mine in the scrap bin last week Cant see why there so popular yes there better than standard units but the car still handled like a abortion ! Gaz golds now set up correct and its great and not harsh either considering im 18's and using elastic bands for tyres

I've seen Cossie's on this Koni/Leda setup and it's not something i'd want to be running, they don't do roundabouts very well
i have also ahmed springs with konis,i don't like them at all.Difficult to drive because of the sloppy bound they have epecially at the front.
the car used to have some unknown coilovers in front and bilstein with some harder springs in the back and it was like a train
Fpmsl at Jay amd Pete bickering. I sopose we all like different. Ive got Konis on mine, fook knows what the springs are. It handled better than it used to. Like Jay says when your on 18.s with laggy band tyres the ride is a bit harsh. I just except that the car is bloody old and there are better handling cars out there. But cossies are mint so there.
My saff is currently on 17s koni's and unknown springs and it sits too low, can't get the jack under it! I want to change back to standard wheels but I'm guessing it will sit even lower then?
Does anyone have any experience of running Ahmed springs with konis with standard wheels as I was about to order some in the hope of raising my car up a little before the wheel swap
At the min 215 35 18 but my old pro race wheels i had 225 on the rear they where et 30 with plenty of room, cromodora are et25 on the rear think youll get 235 on with them
