Default New tow barge for the Cortina

Went down south and bought this the other day, pretty good nick and turned 30,000 on the drive home. Steering box was dangerous so have ordered a rebuilt one up to sort it.

1978 mk2 transit LWB 3.5 Tonne. (payload of 1850kg!)
York diesel engine and 5 speed box
30,000 miles

Decent old work horse, had a few SWB mk2's but always wanted a twin wheel LWB.

Might give it a nice paint job over the winter and colour change and possibly a Di turbo conversion. Will be a good truck for towing my cartina to shows/sprints

I like that a lot. I see one not so long ago with a mk1 escort trailing behind. Both in the same colour. look smart!
