I am going to need to send my scorpio in for a respray on the roof but i am tempted to just do the whole car and change the colour. So if you could chose any colour for your car what would it be?
I am thinking a nice red but not sure so i thought id see what passionford people think . Normally i think darker colours look good on the scorpio but cant decide.

I was tempted to have my saph painted in the aubergine colour that comes on the late escort cossies when it gets painted again next year but decided it was far too much hassle so I'm leaving it White!

I think that'd be quite nice!

I had a mk4 fiesta in a metallic bronze colour. I know it sounds a bit naff but it was an awesome colour in the flesh.
Might be worth considering if you want something different.

 

I think it would need to be a dark colour on that size of car.
Smokestone is my favourite, although Jewel Violet and Aubergine are lovely too.

ETA: Once had an Escort in Medium Charcoal Green, was a very nice colour.

I've just realised the colour was described as metallic copper.

 

I forgot how hard it was to change the colour of a silver car... i'll post up the pictures as soon as ive done them.

Well i went to a car show yesterday and somone in the club has a s2 rs turbo. Shame really as he has pu m3 mirrors on it but apart from that its a nice example. It was in a lovley red (standard ford colour) that i think would suit the scorpio, anyone know the name of it?

Mine will be sat next to these at car shows so you can see why i want mine to look good you might have seen these at FordFair
I want it to stand out, so im thinking about a nice red
Purple one is cosworth and silver one is 2.3

I think i like the sound of sunburst red rather than the blue only because they didnt do a bright red on the scorp's only dark metalic red's, but there are a few lovley blue ones about.

 

I could be wrong but sunburst red was rs1600
Rosso red was early s2 rs turbo
Radiant red was later rs turbos and escord gti
