Default Few piccies of my head rebuild

After a misshap with a cambelt no longer wanting to do it's job, was left with no option but to rip it apart and this is the story so far............

Oooops

My baby in bits

Engine bay

Sexy new competition engine mounts

My newly refurbished head complete with 3 angle seats

being built back up

Should all be back together next Tuesday (my next day off) and ready for a nice little power boost in the way of Green 803 injectors, 3 bar map sensor, -31 Actuator and a chip should see 300 bhp

m8, have you had the head measured ? Although the pictures are not close ups, it looks like it's been skimmed quite a lot... I speak from experience... had to buy a new head recently.

Might be worth checking it out before you bolt it all back together

Don't know exact measurements of it but have been told by the engineer that did the work that's it's well within tolerence

Fair enough m8, didn't want to scare you, just not worth gambling considering how expensive cossie parts are.
TBH, my engineer told me our head was ok, but it wasn't within the tolerances in the technical manual, who do you believe ? I trusted the manual at great expense.
