Cheers mate, I haven't fought in about year and half but still train hope to fight next few months but its hard fitting it all in with work and 6mo baby, I run a few classes there's loads getting into it, the grappling side of it is good fun really technical and keeps you fit I recommend it to anyone

I used to box ameateure when I was 14-15, the money is crap for the training hours tht goes in, but it started as a hobby for me not getting paid at all, your doing well if your getting paid 700-1k a fight but lads have been fighting years working up the ladder to earn that money.

good lad, i took a step back from this as it was either carry on working or make the step with sponsors etc, i took the garuanteed pay route lol
i used to live next door to Rob Ward, and tattoo Lee lives in the same street too
just started back again but need to bulk up again, was about 13st give or take, only 10.5st now
Lot more people getting into it yes, and a lot of muppets getting hurt after their mouths go lol

i thought that youtube clip was gonna get cut short, wasnt expecting u to finish the guy that quick! nice work!
what did u start out doing, boxing or muay thai or sumthin n then move into MMA? or just straight into this with no actual speciality beforehand, if that makes sense? iv started out doing a bit of boxing, mainly only did it to get fit like, but kinda liked it. only issue being i kinda get a bit bored with just boxing now. 1 of my best mates is heavily into his muay thai, and iv been along to watch some shows that his gym puts on, and i enjoy watching that, but again i think id get bored of doing just that, plus im not really built for kicking, so id just get my ass kicked! haha. i keep watching roy nelson in the UFC tho, and thinking he might just be my hero, a hero to all guys out there with a beer belly haha

so u dont really need a major muay thai or BJJ background or anything like that to get into it? that was the bit that always put me off u see, thinking u need to already be a master of all trades to ever get into it. not saying im a superstar boxer or anything, but i think id probably enjoy MMA more and wana progress more than just boxing like i am currently
saying that, id only wana do it for recreation and fitness, not to compete, anyways.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Freak show was a right charactor on TUF but his last fight was dire. He just didn't want to hit his mate.
His Mrs is proper nice though!
I've been down a local mma gym and was meant to start doing BJJ and Thai Boxing but just far to busy at the moment to start. It's proper pissed me off as I was really looking forward to getting into it to get fit again.
